Ukrainian Navy adopts new armored artillery boat
The Bucha boat will be part of the river flotilla created last year in Kyiv Oblast, he said.
The boat is one of those being built for the Ukrainian Navy since 2016. It was laid before Russia’s full-scale invasion, but its construction and state tests were completed during active hostilities in Kyiv Oblast.
The boat was accepted into the Navy by the defense minister’s order on May 26.

The official ceremony was attended by Chief Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Chief of Ukraine’s General Staff, Lieutenant General Serhiy Shaptala, Deputy Defense Minister Volodymyr Havrylov, and Navy personnel.
There have been no Navy forces and means on the Dnipro River since the beginning of the full-scale war, Neizhpapa noted.
At first, one division was created, and later another one at the request of Zaluzhnyi and other commanders, but in a different area in the south of the Dnipro River.
Almost a year ago, Ukraine established a management body for all boats and ships on the Dnipro River — the river flotilla management body.
