Ukrainian prosecutor general endorses criminal case against MP Khalimon
SAPO Deputy Head Andriy Syniuk told the Ukrinform news agency on Feb. 7 that information on Khalimon’s possible unlawful enrichment had been entered into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations.

The relevant investigation began on Jan. 26, Syniuk added.

Earlier the Servant of the People faction vowed to dismiss Khalimon as the deputy head of the faction after journalists of the Ukrainska Pravda online newspaper had found out that during the full-scale war, the MP bought a house in downtown Kyiv worth UAH 10.3 million ($281,662).
The SAPO appealed to the President’s Office to open a case against Khalimon on unlawful enrichment.
