Ukrainian refugee reunited with her dog in San Diego after quarantine

After more than a month apart, a Ukrainian refugee was reunited with her pet dog in San Diego over the weekend. Rosaliia Raison was separated from her Pomeranian at the United States-Mexico border in April because the dog had to complete a required monthlong rabies quarantine. San Diego’s Humane Society has been caring for the dog. But after the difficult period of separation, Raison said this was the day they had been waiting for.
