In particular, she posted a video in which she was crying and admitting that she dreams of ending the war and returning home.

“I’m very tired, I’m alone again, I don’t want to be,” Jamala said.

“I want us to win as soon as possible and to return to life.”

Jamala also explained why she had decided to take part in the dance project and appealed to the audience to support her. The singer said that her participation in the project helps to raise funds for Ukrainian children who have suffered from Russia’s war against Ukraine.

“Today, after the run of tomorrow’s show, I just felt a decline in strength,” she said.

“Why am I sharing this? I want to remind you why I’m in Poland now. I’m here because Polsatfoundation has launched a fundraising campaign for Ukrainian children. I really need your support in this fight. It is important to vote. Why? The fundraising continues while I dance. If I don’t dance, these are my problems, the fundraising doesn’t continue.”

Jamala is a popular Ukrainian singer. She represented Ukraine and won the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden, with her song “1944” about the deportation of the Crimean Tatars.
