A Ukrainian soldier who came to Minnesota for a prosthetic on why he will continue the fight

On the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, we look back on our coverage of the dozens of Ukrainian soldiers who have come to Minnesota for prosthetic care with the Protez Foundation. Dmytro, 25, lost his right foot to a mine while on patrol in the country's east. Like most of the soldiers we spoke with, he said he planned to continue to serve when he got back to his homeland, either as a trainer or on the frontline. Here, he explains why, who is he is fighting for, and what he would like to tell Americans.
