“As a response to its losses on the battlefields, the enemy is setting up more checkpoints, where they check not only private cars, but public transportations vehicles as well,” says the report from Zaporizhzhya Oblast Military Administration.

On May 21, Russian invasion forces shelled civilian infrastructure in Zaporizhzhya region. The towns and villages that were most severely damaged are as follows: Olgovske, Zatyshshya, Gulyaypole, Orihove, Novodanylivka, and Kamyanske.
The Russian army is also making preparations for a potential Ukrainian counteroffensive operation, building fortifications to protect their defensive positions in the parts of southern Ukraine Russia has occupied.
