Ukrainian strikes on ammunition depots in Russia not excluded, says military intelligence

"During the spring counter-offensive, the Ukrainian army may hit Russian (military) airbases and depots with rockets and shells,” he explained.

“It's not excluded that we also will target weapons depots in the Russian area, for example near the city of Belgorod.”

According to Skibitskyi, that is one of the main locations that constantly threatens Ukraine, in particular the city of Kharkiv and the oblast.

The White House called on Ukraine not to delay the counter-offensive to consolidate Ukraine’s successes on the battlefield.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd James Austin III said during the Ramstein meeting on Feb. 14, that the U.S. will to support Kyiv until the end of the war.

Austin mentioned back on Jan. 20 Ukraine's ability to launch a counter-offensive in spring.

Meanwhile, Director of the National Antarctic Scientific Center and veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Yevhen Dykyi, believes that the Ukrainian Armed Force will launch a counter-offensive closer to summer.
