The famed Ukrainian presenter turned 41 on June 22, and for his birthday, he initiated a mass fundraiser for a large-scale project: In the eight days from June 22 to 29, he wanted funds to buy three Turkish-made Bayraktar drones for the Ukrainian military. However, Ukrainians donated enough for four in just three days.

"This project shows Ukrainians are the real deal,” the Foundation said.

“It’s about dignity. About the eradication of inferiority. We have shown ourselves and the whole world that nothing is impossible for Ukrainians. Let's believe in ourselves more and more!”

For those who did not join the fundraising in time, Prytula promised a new fundraising campaign would start soon.

As Prytula previously reported, $15 million is needed for the purchase, with the Foundation contributing $2 million of its own funds. On June 23, the presenter reported that the lion's share of donations ranged from 2 to 200 hryvnias ($0.07 - $6.77).
