Ukrainians urged to stay in shelters as Russia launches fresh missile attack on Ukraine

Mykolayiv Governor Vitaliy Kim also warned there were Russian cruise missiles in the skies.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian activist Serhiy Sternenko reported on explosions in Kharkiv Oblast. According to him, Ukrainian air defense forces are working in the region.

Poltava Governor Dmytro Lunin also reported about the work of Ukraine’s air defense forces and urged the residents to stay in shelters.

As of 1:47 p.m., an air raid alert was triggered throughout Ukraine, except for occupied Crimea.

Later Ukrainian journalist Andriy Tsaplienko said that as of 1:51 p.m., Ukrainian air forces  had shot down four missiles in Kharkiv Oblast, and one each in Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava oblasts.

At the same time, Vinnytsia Governor Serhiy Borzov said there are still many Russian missiles in the skies over Ukraine.
