WATCH: ULA, SpaceX complete 2 successful rocket launches from Florida’s Space Coast on Thursday

Florida’s Space Coast hosted two rocket launches on Thursday.

Both SpaceX and United Launch Alliance completed two successful rocket launches on Thursday.

Crowds gathered early for the ULA launch and in the early evening for the SpaceX launch.

Both companies said they were able to reach orbit with their payloads.

With the successful launch of ULA’s Atlas V rocket Thursday morning, all eyes are now on SpaceX to deliver the second launch of the day.

Florida’s Space Coast is set to be busy with a pair of rocket launches Thursday.

The first launch will be a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket carrying the SBIRS GEO 6 mission for the U.S. Space Force.

The launch will complete the Space Force’s SBIRS constellation which will provide missile warning and defense for the U.S. military.

The launch window opens at 6:29 a.m.

The second launch, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carrying a lunar orbiter for South Korea will launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station Thursday evening.

The launch is set for 7:08 p.m. from Space Launch Complex 40.
