The temperature is chilly, night falls early and it's a good excuse to cruise around the city with hot cocoa in hand and your radio station tuned to holiday music to check out the best Sioux Falls Christmas light displays.

This year, the Argus Leader put together a list of dozens of displays that include everything from elaborate synchronized lights to seemingly impossibly large collections of inflatables.

Enjoy a Hot Toddy at either the Carpenter Bar or Highball. The Carpenter Bar’s Toddy has hints of honey and lemon juice along with Courvoisier, clove and turmeric.

Need some classic Christmas music to go along with your holiday date night? Head to Dada on Dec. 11 for live music from a Charlie Brown Christmas.

It’s not the holidays without some charcuterie. Glacial Lakes Distillery will be hosting a holiday-themed charcuterie tasting menu pared with holiday cocktails at 6 p.m. Dec. 21.

Maple-flavored Lumberjack lattes and apple cider are hits on Coffea’s winter menu.

CH Patisserie has sweet holiday themed treats like Eggnog Crème Brûlée Beignets and Peppermint stick cheesecake. Beignets are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Get classic hot chocolate or, if it’s not too cold, frozen hot chocolate at Prairie Cocoa and Confections. The dessert shop is also hosting holiday cookie decorating classes throughout December.
