The Ultimate Batsheva and Laura Ashley Collaboration Has Arrived

At T&C, it's no secret that the prairie dress—and Laura Ashley-associated fashion moments—are are and will always be iconic. Naturally, that makes the oh-so modern NYC-based label Batsheva one the of the apples of our sartorial eyes. A good ruffle collar and a modest silhouette is always going to be in style. Now, Batsheva has launched a limited edition collaboration with Laura Ashley, marking the first time the British heritage label has partnered with a designer women's brand. And, as could only be expected, the collection is fabulous.

Naturally, the limited edition collaboration is replete with whimsy, unexpected cool, and the hallmarks of classic Laura Ashley design. “When I made my first dress a few years ago, my idea was to take a classic Laura Ashley shape and adjust all sorts of things—make the neck a little rufflier, add contrasting fabrics, bring up the waist. All I wanted to do was revisit and reimagine Laura Ashley and this is my chance to do it. I am working with archival prints, line drawings, and garments and mashing them together," said the designer, Batsheva Hay, in a statement announcing the limited run collection.

With this collection, there's an abundance of winter florals amd rich colors—in total 15 separate pieces with prints, matching mommy-and-me-moments, and even an apron with matching oven mitts. See the whole collaboration and shop here!
