Superstar singer Ed Sheeran is bringing his “+ - = ÷ x” — or Mathematics — tour to GEHA at Field Arrowhead Stadium on Aug. 5.

Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster, with prices ranging from $25 to $99 before fees.

His show uses in-the-round seating, meaning every seat you see used for Chiefs’ game days is available, along with standing-room-only sections on the field. Garth Brooks used a similar set-up for his show at Arrowhead Stadium in August 2021.

The last time Sheeran performed in Kansas City, in 2018, he drew over 51,000 fans to Arrowhead Stadium.

Sheeran pulls from all his albums for his two-hour setlist, including his most recent release “-.” If you’re heading to Arrowhead Stadium for the concert, here’s what you need to know.

WHEN DOES ARROWHEAD STADIUM OPEN?

For fans going to the show, the parking lot for the stadium opens at 3 p.m. according to the Chiefs’ website.

The stadium gates open at 4:30 p.m., and the opening acts take the stage at 6 p.m.

If you don’t want to miss either Cat Burns or Khalid, you should be inside the stadium before 6 p.m.

DO YOU NEED A PARKING PASS?

Yes. General parking passes cost $52.70 after fees, and Lot E platinum parking passes cost $203.50 after fees. They can be bought on the Chiefs website.

Your parking pass may say “section RED5,” if you bought a general parking pass, but that doesn’t determine where you park. Parking is first-come, first-served. An Arrowhead parking staff member will direct those with designated license plates or hangtags to a parking spot nearest to the stadium if the accessible parking spots are full.

Purchase these ahead of time, as toll booths don’t take cash. You need one parking pass per car.

If you’re going with a big group of fans and have a bus or RV rented out, passes for each night cost $123.50 after fees. You enter through Gate 1 at Blue Ridge Cutoff or Gate 7 at Stadium Drive.

Buses will park on the north side of Dubiner Circle and these are also bought on the Chiefs website. Purchase your bus pass on the Chiefs website.

WHAT IF I’M GETTING DROPPED OFF?

Arrowhead Stadium has designated drop-off and pick-up spots for guests using Uber, Lyft, Z-Trip or being dropped off by a friend or relative.

These drop-off and pick-up spots are at the Missouri Welcome Center located between Gates J and 2 on Blue Ridge Cutoff.

Guests can wait to pick up concertgoers in Lot J after the show’s over.

WHAT’S THE BAG POLICY?

Arrowhead Stadium follows the NFL’s Clear Bag policy. If you’re bringing a bag, it must meet these guidelines:

  • One-gallon clear zip-seal bag, like a Ziploc bag

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches

  • Small clutch bags that aren’t bigger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches, with or without a handle or strap

  • Fanny packs, clear or not, are not allowed inside the stadium.

Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after inspection.
