UMC to offer COVID-19 vaccinations, discount mammograms Oct. 8 at West Side clinic

University Medical Center of El Paso will offer a discount 3D mammogram and vaccination event for women and families Oct. 8, a UMC news release stated.

The event will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the UMC West Clinic, 6600 N. Desert Blvd.

For those without insurance, the cost for the mammogram is $50 and will be at no cost for those with insurance, the news release stated.

During the event, UMC also will provide COVID-19 vaccines and boosters on a walk-in-basis to anyone 5 years old and older.

Women who want to receive both the COVID-19 vaccine or booster and a mammogram must receive the mammogram first, the news release stated.

Mammograms will be provided from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and vaccinations will be provided from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
