The Notre Dame baseball team made the trip to face the Tennessee Vols in the 2022 NCAA Tournament Knoxville Super Regional, which is a best-of-three series that starts Friday, June 10.
Tennessee enters the super regional 56-7 overall. Prior to the super regional, the UT Vols beat Georgia Tech 9-6 on Sunday to capture the Knoxville Regional championship.
Notre Dame comes into the series 38-14 overall. On June 5, Notre Dame defeated Texas Tech 2-1 to win the Statesboro Regional.
The winner of the Knoxville Super Regional advances to the NCAA College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, which is scheduled to start Friday, June 17.
