North Carolina baseball can add the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament title and a meaningful rivalry victory to its expanding collection of accomplishments.
The eighth-seeded Tar Heels (37-19) meet No. 10 seed NC State (36-20) in Sunday’s championship game in Charlotte riding a six-game winning streak, part of a late-season surge of 14 victories across the last 16 games that has significantly improved their NCAA Tournament résumé.
Game time is noon on ESPN2. It’s also airing on Sirius XM ACC Radio channel 371 and can be streamed on ACC Network Extra.

UNC has returned to the ACC final for the third time in five tournaments. North Carolina claimed the title in 2019 and is seeking its eighth ACC Tournament crown. Meanwhile, rival NC State lost to Duke 1-0 in last year’s championship game, and last won the title in 1992.
Both the Tar Heels and Wolfpack are 3-0 in this tournament. UNC struck late to defeat Notre Dame 7-2 in Saturday’s semifinals, before NC State disposed of Pittsburgh 8-3. Earlier this month, North Carolina took two of three regular-season games against NC State in Raleigh.
