Puff Johnson will return from injury for UNC basketball vs Duke, Hubert Davis says

CHAPEL HILL ― North Carolina basketball’s Puff Johnson is set to play against Duke on Saturday, coach Hubert Davis said Friday.

Johnson has missed six games because of right knee soreness.

“He’ll be ready to go (for practice) and for the game against Duke,” Davis said during a press conference at the Smith Center.

The junior wing has played in 16 games, averaging 4.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 14.7 minutes. UNC (15-7, 7-4 ACC) and Duke (16-6, 7-4) are set to play at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in a game that will be televised on ESPN.
