UNC basketball recruiting target on campus Tuesday
Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels landed their first commitment out of the transfer portal on Monday when guard Paxson Wojcik committed after a visit this weekend. Now the Tar Heels are hoping to add another player from the portal.
Former Towson standout Nick Timberlake has drawn interest from the Tar Heels since entering the portal. On Tuesday, he was on North Carolina’s campus.
Timberlake took a visit to UNC on Tuesday per a report from Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers. The transfer is the second player to take a visit to UNC since the portal became open a few weeks ago.

The 6-foot-4 wing also had an in-home meeting with Hubert Davis last week.
Last year at Towson, Timberlake averaged 17.7 points per game and shot 41.6% from the floor. In his career, Timberlake shot 37.9% from the 3-point line.
