Heels coach Hubert Davis said Monday that he expects Davis to play against Pitt, but UNC could still be without junior forward Puff Johnson (sore right knee).
The Panthers defeated the Tar Heels 76-74 on Dec. 30 when Jamarious Burton put up a career-high 31 points.
