UNC vs. Arkansas baseball video highlights, final score in NCAA super regional Game 1

The UNC Tar Heels and Arkansas Razorbacks baseball teams met in Game 1 of the 2022 NCAA Tournament Chapel Hill Super Regional best-of-three series on Saturday, June 11.

The No. 10 national seed Tar Heels won their Chapel Hill Regional after winning the ACC Tournament.

Arkansas upset No. 7 national seed Oklahoma State in the Stillwater Regional to give UNC the home field in their super regional series, which started Saturday.

Arkansas defeated UNC 4-1 in Game 1 of the Chapel Hill Super Regional.

Game 2 of the best-of-three series is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET/noon CT on Sunday, June 12 on ESPN or ESPN2.

Arkansas freshman Peyton Stovall sent a home run over the center-field wall to put the Razorbacks on the board with a 1-0 lead in the top of the fifth inning.

Honeycutt homers for Tar Heels record

Vance Honeycutt put UNC on the scoreboard with a two-out solo home run in the bottom of the eighth, giving him 25 on the season — a Tar Heels single-season record. The previous record of 24 was set by Devy Bell in 1986.
