UNCF hosts Black History Month luncheon, celebrates minority students

UNCF raises money to help thousands of minority students, including those as early as kindergarten.

The United Negro College Fund celebrated more than 20 years of support from the community during this year’s Black History Month Celebration.

“Every year, every single day, we are working hard to make sure as many students as possible can enjoy their dream of a college education,” said Gwen Thompson Hewitt, area development director of UNCF Central North Florida.
