Jan. 20—GRAND FORKS — The UND football program is in search of a running backs coach.

The university posted the job opening Wednesday, indicating Robbie Rouse will be headed elsewhere this spring.

Rouse, who was with the Fighting Hawks for two seasons, also acted as the team's pro liaison.

Rouse is a former Fresno State running back. He has yet to announce his next destination and his social media accounts still list UND running backs coach as his job title.

UND has had three running backs coaches under head coach Bubba Schweigert. Kevin Maurice, who's now the tight ends coach at New Mexico State, spent three seasons in Grand Forks (2014-2016), while Malcolm Agnew was the running backs coach at UND from (2017-19). Agnew is now the running backs coach at Sacramento State.

The new UND job posting closes Feb. 2. It says the position will make between $45,000 and $48,000.

The position's preferred requirements include three years of coaching at the college level and a background in recruiting the midwest.
