Undefeated Brillion leads five area high school boys basketball teams earning No. 1 seeds in WIAA postseason

Five boys basketball teams in the Appleton, Oshkosh and Fond du Lac coverage areas earned No. 1 seeds in the WIAA postseason bracket reveal Sunday.

The postseason begins with regional openers Tuesday, Feb. 28. The state tournament is March 16-18 at the Kohl Center in Madison.

Fox Valley Lutheran (20-3) is a No. 1 seed in Division 2. Brillion (22-0) and Xavier (21-2) earned top seeds in Division 3, with St. Mary Catholic (21-2) a top seed in Division 4 and Central Wisconsin Christian (20-2) earning that designation in Division 5.

Fond du Lac (17-6) is a No. 2 seed in D1, with Little Chute (21-2) a No. 2 seed in D3 and St. Mary's Springs (20-2) a second seed in D4.

Oshkosh North (15-8) is a No. 3 seed in Division 1 and Weyauwega-Fremont (14-9) is a No. 3 seed in Division 4.
