Despite Pride looking a little different this year, Under Armour is still showing its support to members of the LGBTQ+ community. The sportswear giant’s 2020 Pride collections features an impressive array of apparel, footwear and accessories. Through the UA Pride Grant Program, the Baltimore-based company is committed to alleviating financial difficulties as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak that have directly affected organizations whose efforts benefits the LGBTQ+ community.

“Our goal is to use our platform to help support the work nonprofits are doing in the community,” Perry Williams, senior manager of commercial optimization and former co-chair of Unified, which is UA’s LGBTQ+ Teammate Resource Group said, via Forbes. “In the past, we’ve worked with organizations like The Pride Center of Maryland, our local LGBTQ resource center, Athlete Ally and Stonewall Sports. This year, we created the UA PRIDE Grant to support other local LGBTQ groups who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Leading the pack for Under Armour’s capsule this year is a rainbow colorway of their popular UA HOVR Phantom 1 Slip sneaker. Featuring the creation of the original Rainbow Pride Flag in 1978, Under Armour says the shoe “symbolizes the power of community and the importance of allyship.”
