"Sometimes, art is doing something simply because we know it will be beautiful," Soleil wrote on his Vimeo account. "During these 3 minutes, I would like the viewer to be transported far away from daily routine, into a mesmerizing dreamlike world," Soleil added.
The movie was made by trained freedivers and every scene was shot ten metres below the surface, with no air assistance.
Soleil says the dancer and cameraman freedived 120 times to complete the film.
