Ivanka Trump tried to get out of traveling to NYC to testify in her father’s civil fraud trial Wednesday, and the attempt backfired — badly.

Last Thursday, “The Apprentice” star’s lawyer argued that his client would suffer “undue hardship” because the appearance fell in the middle of a school week. Trump shares three kids with Jared Kushner: Arabella, 12, Joseph, 10, and Theodore, 7.

After Judge Arthur Engoron rejected the plea, folks had opinions, with most saying that the former political advisor was out of touch with the average working mom.

Leading the charge was Ivanka’s very own cousin, Mary Trump.

“As always, Ivanka has her finger on the pulse of the hardships faced by America’s working men and women,” the “Too Much and Never Enough” author posted snarkily on X. “Who among us isn’t reluctant to leave our children with the governess when we have to travel out of town to testify in their grandpa’s fraud trial?”

Andrew Wortman, author of “America Rises” on Substack, reshared the latter post, writing, “She has six nannies, four babysitters, a live-in staff, a mother-in-law who lives two blocks away and a sister-in-law who watches her kids whenever she needs her to. But yeah, better pause the trial for Princess Ivanka because ‘it’s a school week’ and this creates ‘undue hardship.’ GTFO.”

It’s unclear how many nannies or babysitters Ivanka and husband Jared Kushner actually do employ, and we do think Wortman was being sardonic. That said, supermodel Karlie Kloss who is married to Jared’s brother, Joshua Kushner, does indeed live down the road in Indian Creek Village.

MSNBC reporter Katie Phang piled on too, posting a picture of Ivanka, with the caption, “Don’t look now, but someone’s privilege is showing.”

“The View” panelist Ana Navarro also unloaded on the fellow local on the chat show Friday morning:

“I’m sorry. Ivanka gets absolutely no sympathy from me, and I think from most American women who have to ... balance all sorts of duties,” she said. “Girl, I fly back and forth between Miami and New York at least twice a week, and I don’t have a private jet or a $2 billion from the Saudis. Yeah, so I think you can do it for one day.”

Co-host Sara Haines concurred, referring to all the jet setting Ivanka did while at the White House, when her kids were even smaller:

“I just don’t understand her reasoning,” she said. “It’s tone deaf [and] it’s insulting.”
