Unhurried Alligator Moseys Across State Park Road
A large alligator stopped people in their tracks as it lazily crossed a road in Huntington Beach State Park, South Carolina, footage by a local photographer shows.
Video by Austin Edwards Bond shows people stopped at a crosswalk on Prat Road to watch the alligator.
Adults and children, on bikes and scooters and on foot, can be seen along the road.
“The kids in the video saw the alligator and warned me of it when I riding my bike,” Bond wrote on Facebook.
