The Panthers are coming to Prime Video.

Students from the University of Northern Iowa are slated to appear on an upcoming episode of “The College Tour,” a series on the streaming service that provides viewers with an inside look at life at the nation’s colleges and universities.

UNI’s full-length episode features 10 current students detailing their campus experiences on a range of topics such as campus housing, career readiness, academic environments, and student life.

In a statement, UNI said the segments were filmed on campus in fall 2022. To celebrate the episode, the university will host a launch party on Feb. 8 at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, 8201 Dakota St., Cedar Falls.

A pre-premiere party will take place in the lobby of the center at 6:30 p.m. followed by a viewing in Davis Hall at 7:30 p.m. The events are free and open to the public, according to the university, and attendees will be able to meet the cast. After the launch party, the 10 segments featuring students will be released on UNI’s social platforms.“Our 10 current students did a phenomenal job sharing their unique UNI stories and our team can’t wait to showcase them,” UNI Director of University Relations Pete Moris said in the statement.

Reality show alum and “The Amazing Race” Season 2 winner Alex Boylan hosts the series. The eighth season of “The College Tour,” which features the UNI episode, premieres on Prime Video on June 29.
