A new spot to score desserts and more has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 511 E. Sixth St. in Downtown, the new arrival is called Unicorn Magical Dessert Bar.
Dallas-based proprietors Usman and Javeria Babar are behind the Unicorn Magical Dessert Bar. With unicorn murals on the wall and colorful treats, it offers a fun atmosphere for kids and grownups. Menu offerings include cake pops, cupcakes, pink hot chocolate and a cake-topped milkshake, reports Eater Austin.
With a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, Unicorn Magical Dessert Bar Austin has gotten a good response.
Emily G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 23, wrote, "This place is adorable! I went with my three-year-old and she was in heaven. We got the rolled ice cream with fruity pebbles. It comes with a slice of rainbow cake and cotton candy...The ice cream is made from a sweet cream (so not sugary sweet). The fruity pebbles make for a fun texture. We will definitely be back!"
Yelper Carina J. added, “The interior is fun and whimsical, and the desserts are great! I had the Unicorn (lavender + cotton candy) lemonade. It was so tasty!”
