New uniforms will adjust Carolina Panthers color scheme
The Carolina Panthers are certain to have a new look next time they take the field and it won’t just be the turnover in players and coaches.
Channel 9 sports reporter DaShawn Brown learned the Panthers will be getting new uniforms in the fall.

According to the team, the changes are not expected to be drastic. There will not be a redesign and the logo won’t change.
Instead, this is a color correction. More than a decade after the uniforms debuted in 2012, Nike now has a better color match for the Panthers’ “process blue” color scheme, the team said.
The blue in the jerseys will be more consistent with the color in each end zone during home games at Bank of America Stadium, the team said.

The silver in the uniforms will stay the same.
Also of note, the shoulder stripe on the jersey will now stop short of going under the armpit. Nike said the change is related to technology and increasing mobility.
The new uniforms are expected to debut during the NFL Draft later this month. Carolina has the No. 1 overall pick.
