Union Springs man dies in one-vehicle crash

A shooting critically injured a woman Wednesday.

A 49-year-old Union Springs man died Tuesday morning after his 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe crashed in Montgomery County.

Prestic Faulk was driving at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Alabama Highway 110 when his vehicle "left the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned," according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. First responders declared Faulk dead at the scene.

Faulk was the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Evins Faulk. He graduated from Bullock County High School in 1992 and from the University of Auburn in 1998. Faulk graduated with a Bachelor of Science in technology education, according to a 1998 Union Springs article.
