MOSCOW, July 18 (Reuters) - A unit at a Russian nuclear plant was partially shut down on Thursday morning because of a short-circuit in a transformer, but is now back on line, Russia's TASS news agency quoted a representative of the power station as saying.

The incident happened at block No. 4 of the Kalininskaya nuclear plant near the city of Tver, which is about 180 km (110 miles) north-west of Moscow. (Reporting by Christian Lowe Editing by David Evans)
