United Way of Cass County opens Pins for Kids sign up

Jan. 27—It's time to get groovy and help the United Way of Cass County raise funds to support the Reading Railroad.

The United Way is time traveling to the 1970s for a disco bowling party when they host Pins for Kids from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, at the Myers Sports Bowl, 4231 E. Market St.

Teams of five can sign up now for $175 per team and enjoy a game while raising money for the Reading Railroad, which helps support programs like Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and Begindergarten.

Team registrations are due no later than Feb. 3 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. All participants will be eligible to win a door prize.

Morning bowlers will receive a Bolin's donut and those bowling in the afternoon will be treated to a slice of Bruno's Pizza. Pepsi — Logansport will also provide bowlers with a free drink.

Opportunities are available for those interested in being a sponsor or donating a door prize.
