United Way of Cass County taking donations for Giving Tuesday with matching grant

Nov. 23—NIPSCO and The NiSource Foundation have awarded the United Way of Cass County a $15,000 matching grant for Giving Tuesday on Nov 29.

The grant will allow all donations to be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $15,000.

"The funding allows the United Way to continue its work to improve the education, financial stability, and health of everyone in our community through both the programs we fund and our internal programs," a press release said.

Since 2020, the United Way of Cass County has coordinated $508,575 in various grants (CDBG in coordination with The City of Logansport, EFSP Funds, Indiana United Ways and Lilly Endowment, and United Way of Cass County local COVID funds).

"NIPSCO/NiSource Foundation is excited to support the United Way with our Hope for the Holiday funds supporting Giving Tuesday. We appreciate the great work the United Way does serving the needs of the community," stated Karen McLean, NIPSCO public affairs & economic development manager.

Donations for Giving Tuesday can be madeby donating through the United Way of Cass County website at unitedwayofcasscounty.org or bringing a donation to the office at 300 E. Broadway, Suite 101 in Logansport. Call 574-753-3533 for more information.
