Universal Orlando has announced the names and additional details for two hotels that will operate adjacent to the upcoming Epic Universe theme park. They will be known as Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort.

The hotels will have 750 rooms each, and that will bring Universal Orlando’s total room count to 10,500. The new resorts are scheduled to open in early 2025 with Stella Nova on Jan. 21 and Terra Luna debuting Feb. 25. The park has been earmarked for a debut by the summer of 2025.

The resorts, like other hotels on Universal property, will be co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co.

Universal’s website says rates for a standard room, sleeping four people, will start at $134 at the new resorts.

In a news release from Universal, Stella Nova is described as inspired by “distant galaxies, new stars and mysterious black holes,” while Terra Luna is influenced by “massive and diverse planetary elements of the universe.” It also refers to the spaces and “tranquil accommodations.”

Renderings from Universal show guest rooms in both resorts with a starry theme and wall decor that seems to look to the heavens. Universal’s official website calls that a “spaceship-styled window.” An upgrade is available with pool views.

Images of dining and registration areas appear to have high ceilings, exterior lights, and curved architecture. There’s a similarity to Aventura Hotel, the curvy hotel tower that opened at Universal Orlando in 2018.

The Terra Luna swimming pool appears rounded, while poolside at Stella Nova looks more angular and similar to the Cabana Bay style. Universal’s website mentions an interactive splash pad and lake views among the Stella Nova details.

The Epic Universe resorts, under construction near Orange County Convention Center, will be connected to Universal CityWalk and other Universal Orlando properties by a complimentary shuttle. The new hotels will include perks such as early theme park admission and resort-wide charging privileges.
