UNLV free community clinic expanding evening appointment hours
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The UNLV School of Medicine announced Friday it is expanding evening appointment hours at its free clinic.
According to a release, the UNLV Community Clinic announced it is offering additional evening appointments on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in collaboration with Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada (VMSN).
The UNLV Community Clinic can be found inside the Ruffin Family Clinic at 1240 North Martin Luther King Boulevard. The Ruffin Family Clinic is open Monday through Friday, providing services and medications at no cost to uninsured and low-income members of the community.
The Ruffin Family Clinic features primary medical care, pediatrics, OB/GYN, dental care, social and behavioral health services, and various specialties along with an on-site pharmacy.
The collaboration with VMSN will bring together the expertise of faculty physicians, staff, residents, and medical students volunteering at the clinic.
