WLKY meteorologist Susanne Horgan has a look at your forecast.
SUSANNE HORGAN: Hi, I'm WLKY meteorologist, Susanne Horgan. We're going to be holding on to the risk of some scattered showers for today, and we're also going to be looking at unsettled weather to kick off this work week, followed by some warmer weather coming our way by midweek. In fact, temperatures in the mid- to perhaps even upper-80s expected by midweek. So let's go ahead and talk a little bit about the forecast and what you can expect for today. Because we are going to be holding on to the opportunity for some scattered rain showers, especially during the first part of the day, that should become a little bit more scattered as we take you into the afternoon hours.
Still that chance for showers and storms for your Monday, as we head back to work and school. And unsettled weather expected on Tuesday with still the chances of some additional showers and storms. 70 degrees today, some shower activity expected. Isolated thunderstorms may be possible. You'll notice tonight we dip down to about 62 degrees, and for tomorrow mostly cloudy skies, temperatures right around 75 degrees, and a chance for more rainfall. We stay with that risk of showers and storms on Tuesday. Temperatures right around 75 degrees. We're warm to the middle 80s on Wednesday, and then you can see for Thursday and Friday temperatures are in the upper 80s.
