‘The unthinkable’: Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi comments on UVA shooting

A University of Virginia student is in jail right now after the murder of three UVA football players.

UVA just played the University of Pittsburgh on Saturday.

One of the UVA players who was killed, D’Sean Perry, had two solo tackles in their loss to Pitt.

The shooting took place on a charter bus in a parking garage on campus after students returned from a field trip.

The suspect, Christopher Jones, was on UVA’s 2018 roster.

At Monday’s weekly news conference, Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi was emotional talking about what happened.

“The unthinkable. You go from playing a football game to that. Our prayers go out to everybody down there that’s involved in this. It’s sad,” said Narduzzi.

Tonight’s UVA basketball game against Northern Iowa has been canceled.
