Disc golf clinic upcoming

COSHOCTON − A free clinic to learn disc golf will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Eagle Ridge Disc Golf Course at Lake Park. Facilitator is Brad Schick of Columbus, a back-to-back U.S. Masters champion.

A beginner's set of discs will be available for $15. It includes a putter, mid-ranger and fairway driver. For information, call 740-502-3165. Registration can also be done day of the clinic. It's limited to 50 participants.

Commissioners not meeting Monday

COSHOCTON − Coshocton County commissioners' regular meeting for Monday has been canceled. The next regular meeting is at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the commissioners office, 401 Main St.

Chamber to hold ribbon cuttings

COSHOCTON − The Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce will have two ribbon cuttings for new businesses next week.

The first is at 3 p.m. Tuesday for Bratton Law, operated by Kelly Bratton, at 1415 Orange St. The second is for Heavenly Sweets bakery at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at 702 S. Seventh St.

Gerber & Sons to hold groundbreaking

BALTIC − A groundbreaking for the new Gerber & Sons facility will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26, at 250 Brickyard Road, Baltic. There will also be tours of the current facility and a lunch at Baltic Mill Winery.

Weaving classes to be in Roscoe Village

COSHOCTON − Beginner's weaving classes will be at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 29 and Nov. 11 at the Roscoe Village Visitors Center, 600 N. Whitewoman St.

Each participant will make two mug rugs to take home. Cost is $30 for Roscoe Village members and $35 for non-members. Classes are for those 10 and older.

Riding facility having Trot or Treat

COSHOCTON − Moving Mountains Ranch will have a Trot of Treat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at the ranch, 23839 County Road 17.

The free event will include visits with the animals, hot chocolate, a treat to go, costume contest, games, crafts and voting for your favorite horse in costume.

Lions Club breakfast buffet set

WEST LAFAYETTE − The West Lafayette Lions Club will have a breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Nov. 4 at the West Lafayette United Methodist Church, 120 W. Union St.

The menu includes pancakes, French toast, sausage, scrambled eggs, orange juice and coffee. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for ages 2 to 10 and free for those under 2.

Turkey supper in Port Washington

PORT WASHINGTON − The annual turkey supper will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 15 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 114 N. High St., Port Washington.

The menu include turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade noodles, green beans, cranberry salad, dessert and roll. Dinner is curbside pickup only.
