Michael Che is branching out in a big “damn” way.

The “Saturday Night Live” comedian and head writer is the centerpiece of a new comedy series for HBO Max, titled “That Damn Michael Che.”

The streaming platform released the trailer for the series, which it described as a “groundbreaking” original comedy series — told from Che’s perspective — incorporating sketches and vignettes to capture “everyday situations” that range from racial profiling, to unemployment, being in love and more.

And he’s bringing some of his former and current “SNL” co-stars — and a few celebs — along for the ride.

Launching May 6, the six-episode series will include appearances from Cecily Strong, Heidi Gardner, Colin Quinn, Ellen Cleghorne and Che’s “Weekend Update” co-anchor Colin Jost, as well as guest stars Omari Hardwick, Geoffrey Owens, Godfrey, Method Man and Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award winner Billy Porter.

Che, a four-time Emmy Award nominee, will produce the series alongside “Saturday Night Live” kingpin Lorne Michaels, Erin Doyle and Oz Rodriguez.
