Hononegah's Stuart Hale runs in for a first down against Pekin at Hononegah High School on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, in Rockton.

Here are our updated local football stats leaders after the second round of the Illinois High School Association playoffs.

Hononegah is the only large school left in the third round. With Boylan's Connor Dennis sitting out both Titan playoff games with a shoulder injury, Auburn's Oshavian Dismuke wound up leading the conference in passing, 27 yards ahead of Dennis.

Byron kept its title hopes alive in Class 3A, as did Lena-Winslow in 1A. The rest of the small-school teams from our area have bowed out. Byron's Chandler Binkley climbed into the top small-school rushing spot this week with 1,003 yards, and Durand/Pecatonica's Hunter Hoffman solidified his spot atop the passing leaders from the NUIC, finishing with 1,576 yards through the air and 22 touchdown passes.
