Police patrol car slides into parked car

(WJW) – Icy and dicey.

Freezing rain made for a slick morning commute across Northeast Ohio.

Much of Northeast Ohio is under a Winter Weather Advisory until noon. The National Weather Service predicts many spots could see ice accumulations up to 1/10th of an inch.

FOX 8’s Patty Harken reported most commute problems were located on the side roads.

Shortly after 9 a.m., police said a Chagrin Falls school bus with 11 students onboard was stuck in the area of Bentleyville Road in Moreland Hills. Officials said, no one was injured but police were working with the Moreland Hills Service Department to get the area salted and traffic moving again.

Early morning video, shows cars sliding down the E. 9th Street hill by the Rock Hall in Cleveland. The road is brick and appeared as a solid sheet of ice.

Cleveland police told FOX 8 Tuesday that a police patrol car had collided with a parked car due to icy roads. It happened around Novak Ct. and West 5th St.

No one was hurt.
