Upscale clothing retailer is closing its store at Roseville’s Galleria. When’s the last day?

An upscale clothing retailer will soon close its doors at the Westfield Galleria mall in Roseville.

Banana Republic’s final day at the mall will be Wednesday, Jan. 24, a representative with the store told The Sacramento Bee.

The brand was created in 1978 in the San Francisco area, and is known for its “attainable luxury and heritage classics with a twist.”

Banana Republic’s catalog includes menswear, womenswear, baby, accessories and fragrances.

The Gap Stores, Inc. acquired Banana Republic in 1983.

After the Galleria store closes, only one Banana Republic location will remain in the Sacramento area, at Arden Fair mall.

There’s also a Banana Republic Factory store at the Folsom Premium Outlets.
