Urban Decay Are Donating Profits To This LGBT Charity And It's A Yes From Us
We all love a bit of glitter and what better reason to wear it than supporting the LGBT charity Stonewall?
The not-for-profit organisation is named after the Stonewall Riots which took place 50 years ago this year, and campaigns for the equality of lesbian, gay, bi and trans people across Britain.
Marking an historical moment for members of the LGBT community, Stonewall was a series of events that took place in 60’s New York, where police raids were carried out on the Stonewall Inn, the largest gay establishment in the US at the time.
Since then, the event has been considered one of the most monumental in LGBT history and was the first LGBT landmark to be recognised by the New York City Preservation Commission.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Stonewall and tying in with World Pride, iconic make-up brand Urban Decay are donating 25% of the purchase price of their new heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in the shade ‘Stonewall’, a magnificent ruby red glitter liner, to help support the LGBT community through scholarship programs all over the country.
