Urbana Police, Crime Stoppers looking for armed robbery suspect

URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — Urbana Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened last month, and they are asking for the public’s help through Crime Stoppers.

The robbery happened at 7 p.m. on Jan. 28. Officials said a man walked into the Quick Shop at 1511 East Washington Street, displayed a gun and demanded money. The man ran away from the store after taking the money and a cell phone belonging to an employee.

The suspect was caught on store security cameras. He is described as a light-skinned Black male wearing all-black clothing and a gray face covering.
