Laboratory employees complain of an unbearable odor

One of the Moscow State University laboratories located within the famous Lomonosov building has been flooded with urine for a week, Russian Telegram channel SOTA reported on Feb. 11.

The toilet leak above the laboratory in the Lomonosov building of the university started on Feb. 5. The issue came to light when researchers noticed "yellow puddles" near costly equipment, accompanied by a persistent, pungent odor. The source of the problem was identified as a hole in the ceiling directly above the lab, situated beneath a bathroom. Despite initial assurances from a plumber that the sewage system was intact, the likely culprit was determined to be rainwater infiltration through a structural gap, leaving the true origin of the urine smell unresolved.

The laboratory is located next to the Inopraktika center owned by Katerina Tikhonova, one of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's daughters, obsessed with the security of his "biomaterials", Telegram channel Sota noted.
