Apr. 3—Clean out the attic and the closets, price your items and mark your calendars for the weekends of June 3,4,5 and October 1 & 2, as the US 25 Yard Sale and the Boone Way Yard Sale snake their way along US 25 in 2021. Both events are organized by local volunteers, with the help of local Tourism Commissions. These are great times for clubs, school teams and church groups to make some cash, while drawing thousands of visitors from across America onto our back roads.

This is the 10th year for the US 25 Yard Sale. The Boone Way event was born of the reschedule of last year's spring sale and in its inaugural year. The rescheduled 2020 event did so well, we decided to do 2 sales per year along the same route, from Corbin, Ky to just north of Richwood, Ky. near Florence.

It's free to participate as a vendor, just find a legal spot to set up shop and get permission, price your items to sell, observe the Covid-19 rules and have fun while making some cash. Remember, the wind, not the rain is your real enemy. Set up neatly and safely, and you'll sell more.

We have a new Facebook page "New — US 25 Yard Sale — 2021". Our old page is inactive and unusable. "The Boone Way Yard Sale" also has a Facebook page. Join both pages to get updates before the event and help us grow the pages and events by "Sharing" to all your pages as well. Both events share a web page at us25yardsale.com

Plan now, get started, organize well and you'll have a wonderful time!
