US Air Force Prepares Shipment of Oxygen to Aid India's Fight Against COVID-19

Pallets of oxygen cylinders were packaged to leave Travis Air Force Base in California on April 27, headed for India, where a second wave of coronavirus has seen hospitals struggle.

The White House said the US would supply India with more than $100 million worth of “urgent relief.”

Officials said aid flights would arrive from April 29 in India, carrying, besides oxygen, protective personal equipment (PPE), vaccine manufacturing supplies, and rapid diagnostic tests.
