‘This Is Us’ cast and crew mourn writer who died at 39: ‘She was one of us’
The cast of ”This Is Us” is honoring one of their own — Jas Waters, a writer on the series who passed away at the age of 39.
The news of Waters' death was announced Wednesday on the Twitter page shared by the show’s writers.

Thursday evening, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office revealed Waters had died by suicide.
Several of the show’s stars also mourned Waters’ passing.

Waters wrote for 18 episodes of "This Is Us." She also worked on the Showtime series "Kidding" and the 2019 movie "What Men Want."
