US extends $1.25 billion in grant financing to Ukraine
The grant came through the World Bank as part of the Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance (PEACE) in Ukraine project.

The ministry noted that the funds will be used to ensure partial reimbursement of state budget expenses: pension payments, support for certain social security programs (assistance to internally displaced persons, in particular), as well as civil servant, first responder, and teacher salaries.
Since Russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine has received $15.5 billion in grants from Washington.

On March 29, acting Inspector General of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Nicole Angarella said that a recent audit didn’t reveal any major irregularities related to U.S. financial and military assistance to Ukraine.
